SignHealth is a charity working to support profoundly Deaf children, young people and adults throughout the UK, whose first language is not English but British Sign Language.
A child who is born Deaf is cut off from the world, often isolated even from their own family.
81% of Deaf children grow up with parents who never learn to sign.
As they grow up, Deaf people will encounter barriers in every area of life, from education to accessing healthcare.
SignHealth is working to break down these barriers for future generations of Deaf children, and achieve our vision of a world where there are no barriers to good health and well-being for Deaf people - children or adults.

sign2sing 2012 was a huge success, well done to all of you! We are confident we have broken the record with approx. 120,000 participants!!!
The deadline for submitting the paperwork has now passed and we will be delivering the Witness Statements to Guinness this week. It will take aprrox a month for them to get back to us to confirm the exact numbers.
